By April my depression and anxiety were really horrible. So over spring break I decided to get back to running. On days I didn’t run, I walked. I set a daily goal of 10,000 steps each day. For  29 weeks(203 days/4.5 daily miles/920 miles), I have reached that goal. Some days even getting out of bed to get the final steps in and other days going well over that mark. 
I am grateful for my buddy and the time we spend together clearing my head. I’m grateful for my Garmin that rewards me when I reach my daily goal!!

Food

Day 1 of 30
Food, family, full table
Food is my love language and feeding my kids (an their friends) is how I show them my heart.
Sunday dinners have returned to my home. Dinner is never fancy, we don’t have fine China or cloth napkins but what we do have is love…. and for that I am so grateful.

Gratitude

I practice intentional gratitude as a form of daily reflection in a journal. However, during the month of November I challenge others to do the same. Each day I post one thing that I am grateful for along with a photo. Just one thing each day.
