By April my depression and anxiety were really horrible. So over spring break I decided to get back to running. On days I didn’t run, I walked. I set a daily goal of 10,000 steps each day. For  29 weeks(203 days/4.5 daily miles/920 miles), I have reached that goal. Some days even getting out of bed to get the final steps in and other days going well over that mark. 
I am grateful for my buddy and the time we spend together clearing my head. I’m grateful for my Garmin that rewards me when I reach my daily goal!!

Dad

Day 4 of 30
Dad.
My very first guy. 83 years young today. Still strutting down the sidewalk on his own. 
The man who taught me to appreciate the weight of a good book in your hands, an effective argument, fine wine, great music and a meal cooked with love. He is a straight shooter who tells it like it is.  He pulls no punches and is often abrasive. 
My dad has educated me on the finer (read:most important) things in life. 
I appreciate his unfailing and copious tough love. I am grateful that he is in my corner and love him so very much.
