Day 5 of 30
Boundaries.
Boundaries like a badass.
I have learned that setting boundaries is healthy and respecting boundaries is an act of love. I am so grateful I have finally learned the importance of boundaries.

Dad
Day 4 of 30
Dad.
My very first guy. 83 years young today. Still strutting down the sidewalk on his own.
The man who taught me to appreciate the weight of a good book in your hands, an effective argument, fine wine, great music and a meal cooked with love. He is a straight shooter who tells it like it is. He pulls no punches and is often abrasive.
My dad has educated me on the finer (read:most important) things in life.
I appreciate his unfailing and copious tough love. I am grateful that he is in my corner and love him so very much.

Election
Day 3 of 30
Election day. 
Many people have already voted. But today is the final day to cast a ballot for this election. Many of us differ on our politics, however today is the day to put up or shut up. People have put on a uniform, fought and died so that we all have the right to cast a ballot for the candidate we feel is best for the job. I never take that responsibility lightly!
I never take that right for granted.
I exercised my freedom to cast a ballot for our future.
I cast a ballot for love.
